Re: How to nail the question “What are you going to do after you graduate?”

Dear Potential Graduates (and Teachers);

At the end of last school year, I heard a few young people I knew venting about how they wish everyone would just stop asking them “What are you going to do when you graduate?”, they were really stressed, pissed off and wanting people to just leave them alone, they had spent all of their years to this point being told what to do and suddenly they are supposed to have an answer for a question that they understand as “what are you going to do with the rest of your life?”. As adults, there are many of us that still don’t know what we are going to do with the rest of our lives.

This is why I am reaching out to high schools and offering to come and share a story of motivation and confidence building. That’s what I want to do for the rest of my life. I look forward to hearing back from them.
